Hi there! My name is Brandy Seefried and I am extremely excited to be teaching 4th grade at Parkway Elementary! This will be my 2nd year teaching. Last year was my first year at Parkway Elementary, I started the school year off as a student teacher in Ms. Forkner's class, and moved into my own classroom in December of 2024.

I am the youngest of six siblings and I have always wanted to be a teacher when I got older. I always loved school as a kid and had great relationships with my teachers. I have had a number of teachers make a difference in my life, because each of them made me "feel" empowered and capable of doing hard things. I strive to create strong relationships with my students and families because through my own experience, I strongly believe the quote that says "Someone may not remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel." I want my students to know that I genuinely believe in them and their potential, that I am here to help them succeed, and not only help develop their academic life but also their social, emotional and mental well being.

Outside of school I enjoy traveling, reading, and crafting. On the weekends you can find me curled up in my bed with a good book and my dog, (she's a dachshund, cattle dog mix) she's the cutest! I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
