On December 9, 2024, the LISD Board made the difficult decision to close five elementary schools, including Polser, due to declining enrollment and lack of state funding. This decision followed months of discussions with staff, parents, and the community. Their thorough and thoughtful work can be found at www.lisd.com/cec.

As we move through our final semester, Polser is not only preparing students for their next grade level, we're celebrating our legacy and honoring the students, staff, and memories that made this school special.
