Hello Maverick Family! My name is Ms. Mayhew, and I will be a second-year teacher this year. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and as I went through school, that dream of mine grew even bigger. While in school, I student taught in grades Pre-K all the way through 5th grade and discovered how passionate I am about K-1, and last year, my love for first grade grew even more!

I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, and went to school in LISD! I graduated from Marcus High School then went to Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education.

As a teacher at a STEM school, I am so eager to watch how the students problem solve and create within an environment that encourages curiosity and thinking outside of the box! I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing community at Memorial 😊
