My name is Salima Khakwani and it will be my 8th year in LISD. I was born and raised in Pakistan. I am married to Shahnawaz (22 years) and I have 2 boys Saarim (20) and Saud (16). I have taught Pre-K and first grade. I have earned my Master’s degree in Education from Texas Woman’s University. I am ESL and GT certified. I have completed the Texas Reading Academy and Nationally STEM certification. I love spending time with my family and friends. I am excited for a great partnership and wonderful year!
