Student Monitoring Procedures
-
Daily Formative Assessment
The dyslexia intervention programs are mastery-based curriculums. This necessitates the use of daily formative data to assess student achievement in order to progress in the curriculum. Dyslexia Interventionists use mastery checklists and probes to monitor reading and spelling development.
Nine-Week Progress Reporting
Parents are provided with a progress report indicating the student’s growth in areas being addressed by the dyslexia program every nine weeks.
Annual Progress Reporting
Student progress and goals are reviewed and updated annually.
