We are so excited about the 2024-25 school year! We look forward to inviting you to visit this beautiful campus and show off all the wonderful things that our fantastic students and teachers are working on this year!

Hedrick is proud to have been chosen to be one of four middle schools in LISD to be a STEM Academy. The STEM Academy offers a hands-on, collaborative learning environment dedicated to teaching students Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. By incorporating the design principles of engineering in all subject areas, we will be preparing our students for the workforce of the future. This year all three grade levels will be experiencing STEM in their Science classes and several eletives are available for our engineers of the future!

HMS will continue to offer a wide variety of academic classes, including Honors, GT, SP Education, HS Credit classes as well as Advanced Placement Spanish enabling our students to earn college credit for a foreign language. You will also find a robust Fine Arts program, and a competitive athletics program to round out the experience that students enjoy at Hedrick Middle School.

Please know at Hedrick Middle School, WE LOVE ALL OUR STUDENTS! It is our goal to provide an engaging and well-rounded education for our students. As the building principal, I know that the key to student success hinges on great communication and collaboration with this fine community. I am so proud to be a Wrangler and I look forward to working with and meeting you!
