Coach Hurst recently joined LISD as the Hospitality Instructor for TECC-W.  She has 13 years in Career and Tech Education, instructing and writing curriculum in: Practicum in Hospitality, Hospitality Services, Travel and Tourism Management, Principals of Hospitality and Tourism, Nutrition and Wellness, Career Pathways, and College and Career Readiness.  Coach Hurst is a graduate of LISD schools and excited to bring her passion of the Hospitality Industry, all it has to offer to the classroom and hands on experiences.   

Prior to working in education Coach Hurst was in: hospitality/event planning, business owner, collegiate cheer coach, medical field, and curriculum development for children’s software.
